How to make HI On Nature Lemon Bars
- Set oven to 350F and line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Sift 2 ½ cups flour and powdered sugar into a bowl and whisk together. Pour in melted butter and use a wooden spoon or spatula to mix the batter. Press into a 9 x 13 pan using your fingers. Try to get a nice even layer. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until a light golden color.
- Beat 5 eggs, 2 cups sugar, ½ cup flour, ⅔ cup lemon juice, and the zest of 3 lemons. Give the mixture a good whisk to really distribute the ingredients.
- Spread this mixture over the baked layer and bake for an additional 25 minutes or until the center is just set. Sprinkle immediately with powdered sugar. Allow lemon bars to cool for an hour before eating or transferring to the refrigerator to chill.
Drop the Lemon Tincture on top of each cookie once they have cooled. Add 10mg of tincture (½ dropper) to each cookie.
